A21 SCHEDULES ONLINE

A21 SCHEDULES ONLINE

Time and frequency changes for the A21 transmission season begin this Sunday, March 28. Here are some links to help you find where your favourite shortwave broadcaster has gone for the next six months:

NHK - Radio Japan

Quite a few changes here and several services discontinued. Unfortunately, the schedule is scattered with listings for FM relays, so a bit confusing to look at at first glance!

Radio New Zealand Pacific (RNZI)

7245 and 6170 kHz and some time changes are the notable adjustments to this schedule.

Radio Romania International

The English service schedule can be found at here:

Deutsche Welle

A mere shadow of its former self, DW has the shortest schedule list I have ever seen from them, showing just Amharic and Hausa languages. At least they show the transmitter sites!

WRMI (and its associated stations)

As I write this, WRMI has a schedule showing transmissions from March 14. It's unclear if this will be updated for services from March 28, so worth checking from the Sunday start time. Note: it downloads as a Google.doc.

Media Broadcast (various stations)

An extensive list of broadcasters are covered under this shortwave broker including Adventist World Radio, Dandel Kura, Mighty KBC, Radio Japan, Radio Itahuka, Pan American Broadcasting and others.

HFCC

Of course, you can download all the frequency registrations listed at the HFCC for the new season. This page provides links to all the organisations that are members of HFCC. BUT, remember these are only registered frequencies. It does not mean that stations will start or stay on these frequencies once the season gets underway. And there are a few broadcasters listed who don't currently operate on shortwave, e.g. Egypt since about 2019! Look for the little "a21allx2.zip" link at the top of the page for the combined list of registrations (this is regularly updated).

More to come.......

73 and good DX to you all.
