Rob Wagner (VK3BVW) began shortwave listening in 1968 at age 14 and earned his first amateur radio licence in 1978. He is a life member of the Australian Radio DX Club and writes The World of Shortwave Listening column for The Spectrum Monitor magazine. Rob also runs the Mount Evelyn DX Report blog and hosts a YouTube channel focused on DXing and radio technology. With over 50 years of experience, Rob’s interests include portable DXing, coping with RF interference, classic receivers, online Kiwi SDRs, and propagation best practices. He remains active in shortwave and digital HF modes.
