6155 AUSTRIA. ORF Moosbrunn. Just caught the end of the German service to
Europe before s/off at 0615. Weak level.

Geomagnetic storm conditions gradually improving this afternoon, but still a
problem on 21mHz and 17mHz where signals were quite degraded here in Mount
Evelyn and accompanied by the usual "rushing" noise of solar abnormalities.

At 0600, Solar Flux 106, A-Index 42, K-Index 2. Forecasts indicate a gradual
return to quieter conditions around Oct 12-14, then become unsettled to active
on Oct 15-17. (Via NOAA Space Weather Prediction Centre)
