13660   UNITED ARAB EMIRATES.  BBC - Dhabayya.  Arabic service 1805 with the "BBC Extra" program (the title announced in English!). NF ex 15480 and a good signal. Scheduled for Dhabayya 1700-2000 then switches to A'Seela for 2000-2100. Oct 29.

13690   IRAN. VOIRI - Kamalabad. 0605 Bosnian NF x 15320, excellent signal Oct 29.

13725   THAILAND.  BBC - Nakhon Sawan. NF for English to EAs 0002, fair to poor level & // 15335 (Kranji) which was much stronger on Oct 28.

13735   NTH MARIANAS.  RFA - Tinian. Burmese noted 1255, NF ex 13675, fair on Oct 28. Also, at 1435 in Vietnamese via Agingan Pt, NF ex 13790, strong on Oct 31.

15145   CHINA.  CRI - Beijing.  English 0035 to SEAs, NF ex 15125, Oct 28

15145   GERMANY.  AWR - Nauen. Tachelhit service 0830 to NAf, NF ex 15225, good signal Oct 29.

15155   PHILIPPINES. VOA - Tinang. Special English at 0025, NF (believed to be ex 15205) and fair on Oct 28.

15265   SAO TOME. VOA - Pinheira.  Swahili at 1638, NF ex 11835 (?), fair but with that hollow, multi-path sound, Oct 31.

15270   SINGAPORE.  BBC - Kranji. S/on 0130 Bengali, NF (ex 17615) and good signal Oct 28.

15300   ROMANIA.  RRI - Tiganesti. Arabic s/on 1500, NF (perhaps ex 17800-Tiganesti?) and good signal, Oct 31.

15430   CHINA.  CRI - Kashi.  English to SAs 0537, NF ex 15350, good on Oct 28.

15430   SRI LANKA.  AWR - Trincomalee. At 1205 for the 30 min service in the Mon language to Nth India, NF ex 11800, good level on Oct 28.

15460   ROMANIA.  RRI - Galbeni. English to UK at 1200 s/on, NF ex 15210. Good signal on Oct 28.

15480   SOUTH AFRICA.  AWR - Meyerton. NF (ex 15225 Nauen) for the Arabic service at 0525 to NAf, poor with QRM CNR 1 on Oct 28.

15500   UNIDENTIFIED.  Het with CNR 2 at 0300 s/on but hard to make out the signal. Believe it could be AWR - Trincomalee on their NF (ex 11610) for their service to EAf, Oct 28.

15610   MARIANAS IS.  VOA - Tinian. Tibetan 0120, NF and poor under jamming, Oct 28.

15700   RWANDA.  DW - Kigali. Excellent signal for this NF (ex 15440) in English to Af at 0600 s/on to 0700 s/off, Oct 28. Also, at 1557 s/off Swahili, NF ex 15275, fair Oct 31.

15720   NEW ZEALAND.  RNZI - Rangitaiki. Noted at 1115 to PNG and Timor on NF ex 9700, solid signal Oct 28.

17530   ROMANIA.  RRI - Tiganesti. S/on 1200 English to Eu, NF ex 17510 and one hour later for B13, poor signal on Oct 28.

17540   IRAN. VOIRI - Sirjan. Bosnian Service now here 0545, NF ex 17660, Powerful signal Oct 29.

17615   CHINA. CRI - Urumqi. German to Eu 0615, NF ex 17820, massive signal and // 17720, Oct 29.

17640   CHINA.  CRI - Xian. Russian 0240, NF and holds this spot from 0200-0500. Fair and fluttery on Oct 28.

17680   UNITED ARAB EMIRATES.  R. Ergo - Dhabayya. Noted at 0855 to EAf with earnest talks in Somali by a variety of announcers. IDs at 0900. This NF ex 13685 should produce a more reliable signal on this band as our summer approaches. Oct 29.

17690   CHINA.  CRI - Jinhua. Just about blowing out the radio speaker with a S9 + 30db signal!! 500 kW of English squirted right at Australia!! NF ex 17650. However, you can still hear a much softer CRI English service on 17650 via the Kashi site aimed to Eu, Oct 29.

17735   NTH MARIANAS:  RFA - Agingan Pt. Khmer service at 1235, NF and possibly ex 12140 but I'm not sure, fair but variable signal on Oct 28.

17765   ROMANIA.  RRI - Galbeni.  English to EAf 1245, fair signal and NF, also // 21570, Oct 28.

17780   ROMANIA.  RRI - Galbeni.  English to Au at 0640, NF ex 17760, great signal on Oct 28.

17790   OMAN.  BBC - A'Seela.  Arabic to EAf now here 0548 to s/off 0700, NF ex 17880, fair level on Oct 28.

17800   UNITED ARAB EMIRATES.  DW - Dhabayya. Amharic to Horn of Africa 1653, NF ex (21650), fair to good signal noted to s/off 1700. Then DW-Kigali immediately s/on French, also a NF for that service (not sure what it replaces), which was not nearly as strong as Dhabayya, Oct 29.

17810   IRAN. VOIRI - Sirjan.  Hausa service 0625, NF for this language x 17540 (which now has Bosnian at this time). Fair level, Oct 29.

17840   IRAN. VOIRI - Zahedan. Arabic service at 0635 and // 17820, both are NFs and both strong on Oct 29.

15mb:

19010   KUWAIT.  R. Azadi - Kuwait.  Dari service with ID at 0900, NF and fair level on Oct 30. Alternates between Pashto and Dari from 0430 through to 1130. Used this freq for the B12 season as well, so it obviously works well for them.

21570   ROMANIA.  RRI - Tiganesti.  English to EAf at 1240, NF and one hour later for B13, variable signal Oct 28.

21600   ROMANIA.  RRI - Tiganesti. S/on 0630 English to Au, on an hour later for B13, fair Oct 28.


21640   IRAN. VOIRI - Sirjan. Swahili to Af now here ex 21790 at 0915 with s/off 0920, poor on Oct 29.
