Below is a short bandscan as noted on January 10. This represents 8:30 to 11:00 pm local daylight time. Reception on the higher frequencies above 15mHz has been very good over recent days. In amongst all the China outlets were some other interesting finds such as Deutsche Welle via South Africa, KSDA Guam, Radio Thailand and others.

17500   IRAN. VOIRI - Kamalabad. Arabic s/on 1020 to NAf. Poor.

17510   INDIA.  AIR - Khampur. Indonesian to s/off 0945. Strong. Then s/on 1000 English to Oc, still strong but with audio hum.

17520   GUAM. KSDA - Agat. Chinese s/on 1000, fair.

17540   GERMANY. Bible Voice - Nauen. Arabic to NAf on Fridays to s/off 1000.

17540   GUAM. KSDA/AWR - Agat. S/on 1030 to Philippines in possibly Ilocano (but certainly not Filipino) to s/off 1100. Good.

17840   IRAN. VOIRI - Zahedan. Arabic to ME. // 17820 but slightly stronger, till 1020 then into it's own programming.
