A14 SCHEDULE CHANGES - PART 4

Just a few extra observations to add to the preceding recent posts.

 9410.1   UNITED ARAB EMIRATES. BBC - Dhabayya. Arabic to CAf and EAf at f/in 0340, NF ex 7285. Measured as off-freq and with a weak signal on Apr 29. From 0400 the site changes to Woofferton, with a similar strength and smack-bang on freq!

9505   AUSTRIA. AWR - Moosbrunn. S/on 0330 in Farsi to the 30-min service to Iran, NF ex 6145, poor signal to start but got stronger by 0350, Apr 29.

9530   FRANCE. AWR - Issoudun. Faded in at 0320, just a few minutes before s/off at 0330, Tigrinya service to EAf, NF ex 7315 on Apr 29.

9730   SRI LANKA. AWR - Trincomalee. Burmese to SAs at 0005, NF ex 9810 and fair signal Apr 26.

9810   SINGAPORE. BBC - Kranji. Burmese to SEAs 0020, then Bangla service at 0030, NF ex 9510, weak signal and mixed with Havana on Apr 29.

9845   ALBANIA. R. Tirana - Shijak. English s/on 0130 to NAm, NF ex 7425 and now 1 hr earlier for A14, but weak on Apr 29.

9900   UNITED ARAB EMIRATES. RA - Dhabayya. English 2200-2300 to SEAs, NF ex 9610, Apr 28.

11650   CHINA. CNR 1 - Lingshi. NF at 2210 in Mandarin, fair Apr 28.

11660   CHINA. CRI - Kashi. French to SEu at 2215 to s/off 2227, NF ex 7350 and fair with multi-hop echo on Apr 28

11670   CUBA. R. Havana. Spanish to Eu, s/on 2100, NF and fair level with co channel AIR's English to Eu. Also noted on the Twente receiver as well, where AIR covers Havana completely. Woeful choice of freq until 2230 when AIR s/off leaving Havana in the clear, Apr 28.

11715   VATICAN. Vatican R. - SM Galeria. The 30-min Arabic service now s/on one hour earlier for the A14 schedule at 0400, fair on Apr 29.

11830   KUWAIT. RFA - Kuwait. Tibetan on Mondays 2200-2300, NF and making it through the jamming quite well on Apr 28.

11840   CUBA. R. Havana. Spanish to Eu s/on 2100, NF for this time period, fair level and // 13740 also heard, Apr 28.

11995   FRANCE. R. Taiwan Int. - Issoudun. Spanish to SAm at s/on 0200, swamping the co-channel BBC's Burmese service, NF ex 9730, Apr 29.

13580   UNITED ARAB EMIRATES. BBC - Dhabayya. Urdu service to SAs at s/on 0300 to 0330, NF and fair signal on Apr 29.

 15590   THAILAND. R. Thailand - Ban Dung. English to WNAm at 0032, NF ex 13745, fair level with slight multi-hop echo on Apr 29.
