TRAVELS END - THE FINAL LOG BOOK ENTRY
TRAVELS END - THE FINAL LOG BOOK ENTRY
Well, I arrived home last night after 5779 km on the road in four weeks. Accommodation in 15 motels, cabins and homes. Up through the middle of Victoria, New South Wales, to the Queensland "Sunshine Coast" and hinterland(north of Brisbane), down along the NSW coast, into eastern VIC and back to Mt Evelyn. This was the longest trip away from home since my wife and I did our big European/England tour in 2009, and the longest trip since my heart surgery and various hospitalisations during 2010-12. And I was travelling solo, too. I feel I have achieved something which has given me great confidence for the future. For what it's worth..........Here is a quick report on some listening done during the last two days before finally arriving back home. All listening was done on the old Sangean ATS 909 portable receiver and a random length of wire (usually around 15 metres long).
Locations:
Nov 6 = Eden, south east New South Wales
Nov 7 = Lakes Entrance, south east Victoria
