2014 - THE YEAR IN REVIEW
From Me to You:
My very best wishes for the New Year. May you and you family have a safe, healthy and peaceful year ahead. May you continue to enjoy this fabulous radio hobby.
Thank you for your support of the Mount Evelyn DX Report throughout 2013. Without your "views", "likes", "shares" and "retweets", I doubt that I would have continued to write this blog. I appreciate your generous words of encouragement and friendship. It is most appreciated.
2014 - The Year in Review
It has been an interesting year, hasn't it? WYFR signed off and WRMI took over Okeechobee FL. Many broadcasters are taking advantage of the WRMI facilities and providing programs for transmission via the Florida site. Radio Exterior España signed off and appeared again, in a much reduced schedule, a few weeks later! And isn't it strange that we thought the Voice of Greece was gone for good, but it just still keeps on going in a new format as ERT Open. And then there was the big news that the Voice of Russia was returning on October 1......we're still waiting for that one - they didn't say which year!! ;-)
DX has been particularly good throughout the year. Sunspot numbers and solar flux has remained stubbornly high over much of the past 12 months, resulting in some excellent propagation on frequencies above 15 mHz. However, on the lower frequencies below 6 mHz, DX appeared to be just average.
Over the past year, some of the most popular posts amongst the MEDXR readership included (not in any particular order):
LATIN AMERICAN SURVEY 2014 - Available for Download
This was the most viewed and downloaded blog post for the year. And if you don't have it yet, it's still available.

I encourage you to take the time to go back through the MEDXR blog posts from the last 12 months and see if there's something that takes your interest, or that you may have missed.
Once again, have a wonderful 2015.
Best wishes to all readers,
