LATIN AMERICAN DX SURVEY 2015

Available for Free Download

I have just finished compiling the 2015 survey of Latin American broadcasters. This list represents those stations that were monitored here at Mount Evelyn, Victoria, Australia. It is not intended as a complete list of all stations operating in South America. The survey covers many domestic South American stations as well as two international broadcasters between March and September this year.

Also featured in this year's survey is an article I wrote for the August issue of The Spectrum Monitor magazine entitled "Radio Verdad - Small Signal, Big Heart", which focuses on this very unique Guatemalan broadcaster.

DXers and shortwave listeners living in the northern hemisphere are now approaching their winter season, so this survey may be of interest and use to you. In previous years, there have been more than 2000 downloads of this document, so it appears to be very popular amongst MEDXR readers!

This free survey is a 16-page PDF document, approx 11 mb, and can be downloaded at:

I hope you find this resource helpful. It was certainly fun putting it all together! Any feedback is always appreciated.

73 and good DX to you all.

  1. Great survey as always and an excellent resource/tool for anyone wishing to get their feet wet of what's left from LA on shortwave. One thing worth noting. R Verdad has been a useful 10 meter beacon with their 7th harmonic on 28385 kHz the past few years. Good DX OM and thanks again!
