My thanks to Rob Shepherd (Toowoomba, southern Queensland) for sending in the following high-quality DX tips. The following were all heard at Rob's home in sunny Toowoomba during the last half of June.


3260       1200 - Radio Madang, PNG with classic pop and rock music and some news breaks. June 18.    

3320       2000 - Radio Sonder Grense, western music and singing at fair level. June 29.    

3325       1000 - Radio Bougainville, PNG fair with Pidgin talks program. The only two 90 mb PNG stations heard on this band during the evening. June 18.    

3325       1715 - RRI Palangkaraya.  On late beyond sked 1700* with Indonesian talks program at good level after Bougainville has signed off. June 29.    

3955       2030 - KBS World Radio, Seoul with German program to Europe from Wofferton U.K. site, at poor level. June 29.    

πŸ‘ 4010       1755 - KGR1 Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan with talks, then instrumental music at better level than 4820 kHz and to 1800*. June 29.    

4750       1700 - Radio Bangladesh Betar, weak in Bengali after CNR1 sign-off at 1657. June 29.    

πŸ‘ 4760       1330 - AIR Port Blair Andaman Islands.  Very weak signal with Hindi vocals, much static.  AIR Leh also on at this time, but DX correspondent in India advises Leh not heard in central India so presume Port Blair. June 18.    

4810       1715 - Voice of Armenia, Yerevan with Azeri program to 1730 at fair level, mixing with AIR Mumbai, Bhopal 4810 kHz. June 29.    

4810       1715 - AIR Mumbai with Hindi program at weak level and what sounded like EE news at 1730 but not sure. June 29.    

4820       1630 - Two stations here.  PBS Xizang Lhasa (dominant past 1700 with talks) and presumed KGR2 Bishkek Kyrgyzstan with pleasant ethnic instrumental music. June 29.    
               
πŸ‘ 4820       1630 - KGR2 Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan with talks program at weaker level 4010 kHz. June 29.    

4930       1820 - VOA Botswana, Moepeng Hill with EE talk program mentioning democratic rule in Zimbabwe. Great rap music at 2030. June 29.      

4960       2030 - VOA Sao Tome relay with Hausa program from *2030-2100* at weak level. June 29.    

4965       1645  - Voice of Hope, Zambia with EE religious program at fair/good level, // 6045 kHz. June 29.    

πŸ‘πŸ‘ 5010       1900 - Radio Malagasy (presumed) as AIR Mumbai signoff is 1745. Fair to weak with music and talks in the Vernaculars and gone by 1930. See also tentative logging for 6135 kHz below. June 29.    

5915       1820 - Zambia, NBC Radio One Lusaka at easy listening level.  Talks and laughter – sounded like a radio drama. June 29.    

πŸ‘ 5940       1930 - Radio Deegaanka Soomaalida Itoobiya, Ethiopia, weak at this time with HOA vocals. June 29.    

5950       1945 - Voice of Tigre Revolution, Ethiopia, also pretty weak with talks program. June 29.    

6030       1945 - Radio Oromiya, signal improving with animated discussion program. June 29.    

6045       1645 - Voice of Hope, Zambia with EE religious program at good level, // 4965 kHz. June 29.    

6090       2030 - Radio Amhara, Ethiopia,  fair with HOA music but under Romania. June 29.    

6115       1700 - Radio New Zealand international.  Great level with EE news including item re Canberra concern that CNR now occupying former South Pacific frequencies previously occupied by Radio Australia. Really! June 29.    

6135       1855 - Unidentified under noise jamming North Korea ?  of what station? African style music heard under jamming before it dominated. Not to confuse with TWR Manzini which has African religious program and Af music at this time on 6130 kHz. Checked parallel Malagasy 5010 kHz channel and pretty sure program format was the same. June 29.    

6190       1945 - BBC WS via Meyerton, South Africa at weak level. June 29.    

7235       1945 - Tentative.  Radio Ethiopia, very weak fluttery signal. June 29.    

7245       1700 - R Tajikistan, very weak with ethnic instrumental music once CNR1 signed off. June 29.    

7255       0550 - Voice of Nigeria, Abuja.  Powerhouse signal this day, prior to sign-on in Hausa. June 18.    

11925    0550 - Channel Africa, South Africa EE news at 0600 followed by ‘Africa Rise and Shine’ program. June 18.    

πŸ‘ 17760    0800 - South African Radio League program Amateur Radio Today. Very weak and didn’t improve for their Sunday only broadcast in EE / AF *0800-0900*.  June 24.  

Rob uses a JRC NRD535-D receiver with a 28 metre longwire antenna.

πŸ‘ 3310       1100 - Radio Mosoj Chaski, Bolivia, fair with Quecha programming.
                                     
πŸ‘ 4055       1035 - Radio Verdad (Radio Truth) Guatemala, weak with religious hymn singing.
                                     
4885       0740 - Radio Clube do Para, Brazil.  Fair / good in Portuguese
                                     
πŸ‘ 4990       0900 - China, PBS Yunan (presumed) at weak level in  Chinese.  Actually looking for Radio Apintie, Suriname at grey line approx. their local dawn.  Emails to Radio Apintie to check the status of station answered with “unfortunately Radio Apintie is off the air now. Will be back soon”. Radio Apintie FM outlet via internet audio stream identifies as ‘The Happy Station’.
                                     
5910       0645 - Alcaravan Radio, Colombia with pleasant Spanish melodies at good level.
                                     
5940       0750 - Radio Voz Missionaria, Brazil at fair level in Portuguese. Checked station web audio stream to confirm program content which was same as I’d heard.
                                     
6015    0415 - Radio Tanzania, Zanzibar.  Fair level with hi-life African music and Swahili announcements.
                                     
6040       0900 - Radio RB2 Brazil, with slow Portuguese ballads at fair/good level.
                                     
πŸ‘ 6070       0450 - CFRX, Toronto Canada.  Fair with EE talks program. News on the hour and Id  “Newstalk Radio”.
